Our School
Ysgol Gyfun y Strade was established in 1977 as a mixed bilingual comprehensive school for students aged 11 to 18.
In September 2019 it will have well over 1,200 pupils, with an established first year intake of around 240.
The school is committed to maintaining and raising the standards of pupils’ work and behaviour, and to promote Welsh medium education in a bilingual community. The annual school development plan and improvement targets directly relate to these aims.
